Monday 3rd June
22:36 BST I have been really lame in my updating of the Captain's Log - i have no valid excuse so let's just say she has been in dock undergoing vital structural repairs.
I have updated the book section of my site, a new book has been published: Errol Flynn and Sean Flynn in Hollywood and Vietnam - i am half way through it already and so far it is excellent. Jeffrey Myers (author) tells it like it was/is and doesn't let emotional bias get in the way. He presents the facts as told to him and doesn't try to twist it round to sell more books (mentioning no names here HIGHAM..)
Will be more once i've read it all and any other updates!

20:56 Errol has now got 143 votes on the Oscar Oscar website! I am so very pleased and what's nicer is that some of my m8s who i've told about it have voted also :) although not yet the web-phobic Mr Chadwick from the Levellers but we are working on him as i speak ;)

21:16 (daylight saving time yeah rub it in!) just now in the e-group i read a msg that was really nice and it was just the actress Whoopie Goldberg acknowledging Errol as being a hero figure and it was nice all this time later. It felt abit weird to read that because that it feels like when he was in war films and ppl were a bit pissed off shall we put it lightly because they reckoned he was just play-acting the war but it is Irony because it is exactly what he was like for the first half of his life being like those characters that he played out in the second half of it. i think that if Errol had been there and physically able then he'd have gone in to save ppl too. that is what i think. tho i prefer not to dwell on that tragedy - stick to Hollywood. hmmm
ps.. on lighter note, Happy Thanksgiving to u all in america i have a legitimate reason now to go up the pub for last orders i'll have one for you :)

22:00 It seems there is a third party now who wants to defame Errols name. He now stands alongside Charles Higham and David Bret in my line of fire and his name is Michael Bodey. He is a journo from Oz and has a big hang-up about Errol for some reason we can't fathom out. Men feeling threatened by a legend are just sad and insecure, lets check out their relationships with their mothers!!! HA!

Ahh long time no write i guess...well, i have put some more pics up as Footsteps in the Dark was on telly this afternoon. Haven't seen this one before but it was really funny i did like the John Cleese running action thing at the end hahaha
Errol has 105 votes on the Oscar website and i am glad to see that a few of my m8s have signed it too :) !

I have been making updates to my Biography for Errol and also have noticed that as of today @ 10.47pm GMT Errol has 101 votes on the Oscar, Oscar! website :)!! Bung Ho old boy!

I have added a new page on Errol's novel Beam Ends. I will gradually be compiling pages on his other novel, Showdown, his autobiography, My Wicked, Wicked Ways, and the other pieces of writing he did for various publications during his lifetime. Also as of now 12.35pm Errol has 92 votes on the Oscar, Oscar! website. :)

i can put this here because this is my page :) just a pity we can't all re-vote on the Oscar, Oscar! website. Apparantly the statuette of the Oscar is holding a sword. Did anyone already know this? i only just found out it cos it was a question on a quiz show on uk telly tonight. What does the statuette of the Oscar hold in it's hands? and it was out of 4 answers and it was a sword. Well i say then: how come when Errol was alive they were more than happy to put a sword in his hands cos it made them good money but when it comes to recognition they seem to have forgotton after all the dead can't argue their case. Millions of dollars, pounds and yen and plus.. have been made out of his exploits with a sword yet they won't honour him with a sword carrying Oscar. the world turned upside down......
BTW tho he has 73 votes now :)

It has been a mad week - we had a treacherous event where a certain person from our e-group (check the purple yahoo icon to go there) crossed the line. Would Errol have just laughed her off or would he have thrown her over the side?! Basically she had 2nded the vote for Errol on the Oscar, Oscar! website, then unsubscribed from our e-group with a bullshit excuse THEN gone on to nominate another person. Not only that she then went on to urge people on her nominees e-group to vote for him - - AND! not only THAT but she laughed about Errol suddenly being so far behind!!!

Well, it has been a brilliant weekend in regard to Flynn-flicks! also i got some brilliant stills from the films which can be found at the pictures link just to your left on the page. The goodies don't end there either as Edge of Darkness plays tomorrow :) AND as of 21.04pm of the above date Errol has 58 votes on the Oscar, Oscar! website.

Take no notice of any thanks or praise i have given to amazon.co.uk as they are now restocking the Satan's Angel which is David Bret - his book on their cyber shelves. Here is a link: so you can register your disgust. And to think i thanked them for taking it off. :PPPP also i posted a review of this bk to them earlier, it will be interesting to see if they allow it on their site as it isn't very PC! i wrote a review of this bk before and they deleted it! Truth Hurts mebbee....you'll get yours Davey Bret you spineless little bleeder!!! Karma!!

Well, as of right now 10.23pm UK time, Errol now has 54 votes on the Oscar, Oscar! website. I hope they will take notice of us cos we want our man to get his honour like he rightly deserves. That is why we have tried so hard to get him to the top of the list and is why he got there. Go Rory! We are behind you All The Way!! :)

I cannot believe how long since i have updated this page it is totally disgraceful! PLUS news has come in that amazon.co.uk no longer supply the discraceful David Bret's Satan's Angel. Result!!! ppl will learn that they can't get away with that kind of stunt if they get enough bad reviews etc. Maybe Mr Bret is one of Satan's angels giving the content of his mind!! maybe if that last sentence offends anyone i might remove it and put something else.
Tis the Captain's right after all :) and a punch in the gob from Errol haha

I might make this into a news page. Mainly because things keep happening all the time and you need to keep on top of it all. Errol has just played a joke on me: actually on alot of us. For ages we were thinking that he dropped his middle name Leslie, or at least speculating about it (a made up story on his part of an uncle he disliked) and it comes now that he signed his name "Errol Leslie Flynn" for the whole of his life! and i can see him there laughing at us...arrgghh!!!
